Meet Ella from Massachusetts. Ella is 8 years old and has Down syndrome. Only families from Massachusetts are being considered to maintain her birth family relationships. Placement fees are waived since this is an adoption from foster care.
Meet Ella!
We are seeking a family from Massachusetts for an 8-year-old girl who is a vibrant bundle of personality and lights up every space she enters. Endearingly known as the "mayor" of her school, she naturally leads with charisma, warmth, and a deep love for connection.
Her independent spirit and confident nature shine through in everything she does; from her sassy sense of humor to her determined approach to life. Whether offering a hug or simply flashing a smile, she has a gift for making people feel seen and valued. She thrives when listening to music, dancing, coloring, and doing outdoor adventures, especially swinging at the park.
Her excitement for life is contagious, and she delights in eating her favorite foods like broccoli and watching stories featuring Encanto, Paw Patrol, and Disney Princesses. This sweet girl enjoys visits to the library, park and local attractions such as the butterfly place.
At home, she enjoys the company of her foster siblings, pets, and a room of her own where she sleeps peacefully through the night.
A future adoptive family would ideally have a flexible schedule and some knowledge of sign language to help support her communication needs. We are looking for a family of any constellation, with or without children.
Placement fees are waived since this is an adoption from foster care.
In order to be considered for Ella, you must have a domestic, foster-to-adopt home study that is signed and updated and you are immediately available to adopt.
If you are interested in Ella and you are on the NDSAN registry, please email us, and we will send your home study and family profile to her worker.
Please know that Ella may be placed by the time your home study is completed, and getting a home study will not guarantee her placement with your family. If you are new to the adoption process and would like to learn more about adoption, please start with our webinar here.
