What is the NDSAN Adoptive Family Grant?
The NDSAN Adoptive Family Grant is a grant given to families who have adopted a child with Down syndrome with the assistance of the NDSAN.
Who can apply for the NDSAN Adoptive Family Grant?
Families who have received placement of a child with Down syndrome with the assistance of the NDSAN can apply for the NDSAN Adoptive Family Grant.
How long will it take to find out if I have been approved for a grant?
Please allow 30 days from the time you submit your application.
After I have been approved for a grant, how long will it take to be awarded a grant?
Please allow two weeks from time of approval to receive the grant.
Will you pay for our entire adoption?
As monetary resources are available, our grant fund will pay up to 50% of your placement fees, with a maximum grant of $2500.*
How will the grant be awarded?
The family will receive a check from the NDSAN Adoptive Family Grant Fund.
How is the NDSAN Adoptive Family Grant Funded?
We rely on generous donors who have a passion for this aspect of our adoption program. These donors have made generous, designated gifts to our Adoptive Family Grant Fund.
